To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, Yuyao micro-sculptor Li Qici completed a mini-carving "Red Boat" created with a red pencil lead after more than a month of conception and creation.

This miniature sculpture is based on the "Red Boat" as the main body, and the background is lined with the Yanyu Tower in Nanhu Lake, Jiaxing. It is engraved on a red pencil lead of 21 mm long.

It is very difficult to reproduce the "Red Boat" with micro-engraving, especially when using red pencil lead as the material.

Li Qici introduced that the red pencil lead he chose for this creation is more brittle and more fragile than the black pencil lead.

Li Chici has been engaged in micro-sculpture creation for more than 40 years, and he has carved various themes of works. This is his first attempt to use a red pencil lead as the material for this micro-sculpting work.
